Tribute to a Living Legend
Sister Fannie Redd has been a dedicated servant of God at St. Paul Baptist Church for over 72 years. She has been a devoted member serving her church on many auxiliaries and ministries over the years. The most recent ones have been:
Missionary Ministry
Deshields-Smith-Rush Scholarship Ministry
Culinary & Comfort Ministry, and a participant in Sunday School Services.
However, Sister Redd's longtime loyalty and dilegence, have been to the User Minstry #1. She has actually and continuousley served in the capacity of President since January 1984; the longest in the capacity of President of any ministry at St. Paul Baptist Church. And, she has served as President of Usher Ministry #1 longer than any of the previous Presidents.
During the majority of those years, Sister Redd has been a faithful active participant in the Wood River Region 1 Ushers and Health Unit. As President emeritus of the Usher Ministry at St. Paul Baptist Church, Sister Redd continues to remain active by providing leadership advice and encouragement to all of the Ushers, as well as attending meetings and events of The Wood River District.
We are honored to present this tribute to an outstanding living legend; Sister Fannie Redd.
